Tampa, FL DIY Elevator Project

This is the project that started it all! My grandfather is in his 90s and needed to move in with my parents... the problem? My parents home is on the second floor and elevators are not cheap.
We decided to build our own. We built a DIY elevator with a complicated design at first and we have made a lot of modifications since this was installed.
People wanted to know about the automation i added to it after i posted the working system on YouTube and the HoPEC System was born.
Just for fun, we have included a lot of edited and unedited videos (Including a first appearance on YouTube for my Grandpa!) and photos from its infancy in March of 2018 until now
